This is a new hotel, about 2 months old according to the owner. Therefore, expect everything to be new, shining, glittery, and clean. It was a great stay, the room was clean, comfy with nice decoration. Especially the wall paper with red / gold stripes. The toilet was clean and big enough, water pressure was great. The staff was great especially Mr. Ilhan / Levent, very informative and helpful. Once, I need to transfer my photos to pendrive, they even send a laptop for me to do so; foc. There also a provision shop next to it, and a restaurant opposite (apparently popular with locals). I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
If you dont mind, its about less than 15 minutes walk to the Sophia Hagia / Sultanahmet area though there are shops (souvenirs) already within 5 minutes walk. The breakfast is almost similar everyday and it would be good if they have more varieties. All in all, I still highly recommended the hotel.
Good hospitality, very nice manager help us to book everything.the bathroom is great.location is great, close to many famous places
Pick up service is so expensive
The staff are very friendly and helpful, i think is very nice hotel.
near to the train
Personnel attention Design Confort and amability Central position near the touristic attractions
I was really amazed at how helpful, friendly and accommodating the staff in this hotel are [namely Ilhan and Gulsah (who prepares really nice omelete and turkish coffee :) ]. The deluxe double room is small but covered the basic necessities for our stay and we even moved to the business suite on our last night without issues. The location is good and is a 10-minute walk to get to the main Sultanahmet attractions (Astar Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi) and the tram. Close to several options for food (and water pipe/hookah places). We did not have regrets when we chose Sultan Tughra and we'll be happy to stay there again. We just had some issues getting to the hotel since we used the tram from the airport. It's strongly recommended that you take a cab which would cost around 50 liras.
Da straconsigliare small Great hotel, Perfect position, quiet side street, just minutes from main attractions, staff very kind, customers help for any needed; very nice architectures and furnishings. Excellent No tourist restaurants nearby.
The hotel is new and the decoration is really beautiful. It was a ottoman house. I loved my room. Delicious breakfast. People are very, very friendly and helpful at anytime. Walk distance from Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Aghia Sofia. I really recomend it!
Amazing rooms with big mirrors, even over the bed,-romantic,elegant style,- small and intimate hotel with only nine rooms, reccomanded to couples, ore solo travellers.
Our room was in the basement floor, and we didnt have wiew over anything and couldnt open the windows.
The hotel was in a very good spot, almost next to everything in Sultanahmet. It was very clean and the personel was very polite and helpful. I would certainly go again.
The hotel is comfortable, clean and located near of the Istanbul's heart. Though what impressed us the most were people who worked there. No matter what they are always willing to help.
This hotel is confortable, good position, good price, clear and the staff is GREAT.Sono stata benissimo al Sultan Tughra Hotel, situato in una posizione ottima tanto da poter visitare I maggiori monumenti a piedi, staff accogliente, gentile e generoso, sempre pronto ad aiutarti e darti il massimo confort.. La camera sempre pulita, cambio di biancheria tutti I giorni, fortunati perchè c'è anche un ottimo rapporto qualità/ prezzo che non guasta. Breakfast è okay mancava solo qualche dolce in più visto che sono italiana.
The staff was extremely attentive, from the manager, Lavent, to each one of the members of the night and day crews, who were always trying to make us feel comfortable while staying in the hotel or suggesting activities in the city. Even when the room was not too big (as advertised), it was cozy and comfortable (providing that one is traveling without large pieces of luggage) and it was always kept clean and tidy. Very close not only to the major historical sites, but to the area with a lot of restaurants and bars in Sultanahmet.
An extra light in the bathroom, near to the mirror, would have been helpful for grooming.
The great location, Nice staff, quiet street, beautiful decor, good breakfast, and the welcome turkish coffee.
Our room was a little too tight and a little smelly when the AC was off.
We could not desire a better hotel! Really beautiful, confortable and clean rooms, close to the city center, the staff is very good, kind and professional. Special thanks to cagatay! Thanks to him our stay was unforgettable, he is really professional, gentle, careful and smiling!! :) Thank you also to Ilhan.
This Hotel is located only 10 min walking distance away from all major attractions of Sultanahmet. It is nicely decorated in Ottoman style, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and my room was ideally clean. It is located in a picterious, quiet, and authentic side alleyway of old Sultanahmet, which is also a part of tourist's experience. The place is very quiet, but I recommend to close the widows during the night, if you do not want to be woken up at 5:30 A.m by muezzins from the nearby mosques (it's not a problem, since the rooms have air conditioning). Try the dried mulberries for the breakfast - they are delicious!
The size of my room was ok for a single traveler, but it may be a bit small for a couple.
